E’ l’Africa misteriosa e seducente,  nelle sue geometrie etniche, nei bagliori e colori della savana,  nelle sue  contaminazioni culturali, il fil rouge della collezione Eleventy SS20, rivisitata in chiave moderna e raffinata per adattarsi alla vita quotidiana della donna di oggi.

“Ho voluto rievocare emozioni autentiche che solo l’Africa riesce a trasmettere, attraverso capi che portano con sé grande ricerca materica e stilistica verso un nuovo equilibrio tra modernità e contaminazione”, spiega Paolo Zuntini, direttore creativo Eleventy donna.

Look sofisticati e ricchi di calore, risultato di una profonda attenzione che si impegna nel rispettare i concetti di ecosostenibilità e di cura verso la natura, un tema oggi troppo importante per essere disatteso.

Le vestibilità morbide accarezzano la silhouette con tessuti leggerissimi e talvolta da quell’aspetto fluido che i materiali naturali sono capaci di regalare; sete satin leggerissime e vellutate scivolano su abiti lunghi fino ai piedi o arricchiscono preziose ed impalpabili bluse che danzano all’aria.

Leggerezza è una delle parole chiave di questa collezione e sintetizza la caratteristica primaria che devono avere capi adatti a viaggiare in luoghi caldi e lontani, ma anche ideali per la stagione estiva in città. Pregiati lini e cotoni nelle tonalità candide e neutre dei bianchi e della sabbia contrastano armoniosamente i toni più accesi delle geometrie etniche verdi, arancio e marroni, per un’eleganza senza tempo che avvolge con la sua semplicità e stile una donna sicura di sé.

Anche per la maglieria i filati sono lavorati con punti ricercati e donano tridimensionalità grazie a lavorazioni a rete e maglie scaricate che trasmettono quella voglia di scoperta e di viaggio.

In omogeneo contrasto, il classico tailleur diventa protagonista, ma rivisitato nelle giacche con fusciacca, per valorizzare il punto vita, da abbinare a pantaloni over; mentre per le giornale più calde estive le giacche smanicate sono da indossare su pantaloni  corti alla caviglia. 

La giacca rimane sempre il must have Eleventy, in monopetto e doppiopetto, con bottoni in metallo spazzolato oro che fanno risaltare i colori della terra, dei bruciati, dei bianchi e dei panna. Giacche multitasche dalle linee femminili garantiscono un tocco grintoso, raffinato e al tempo stesso pratico, adatto ad affrontare il viaggio.

Leggerissimi pellami sfoderati e vellutati camosci, si prestano per adattarsi ad abiti, salopette e spolverini, ma anche bomber dall’animo più casual, rivisitato per diventare un capo d’abbigliamento chic proposto anche in prezioso nylon seta dall’aspetto traslucido.

Completano la collezione gli accessori: sandali e sabot in pelle stampa animalier con tacco;  sciarpe e  parei in fantasie e colori ispirati alla natura; lunghe collane e bracciali dalle colorate perle in noce di cocco che arricchiscono i look con un’atmosfera esotica e vacanziera da vivere anche in città.

celebrating beauty with a sophisticated blend of modernity and ethnic designs

This collection is a celebration of Africa, its beauty, its colours, revised with a modern and sophisticated twist to adapt to the everyday city life of the modern woman.

In this vast country, everything has a different meaning. The world’s most famous authors and film directors have taken inspiration from its landscapes, which we decided to use as the backdrop of our SS20 collection.

This exciting journey, seen through the eyes of the designer, is mostly a journey of thought to exotic places and tropical landscapes where colours, African designs and animal prints are key.

 “I wanted to capture the authentic emotions evoked by the garments using great material and design research to create a new collection that could offer a balance between modernity and ethnic tradition”,  Paolo Zuntini women’s collection creative director.

Sophisticated outfits, which make the Eleventy woman look stylish every day, are based on the great attention to environmental sustainability and nature, which are topics too important to ignore.

The loose, natural fit caresses the silhouette with very light fabrics, at times providing that fresh, flowing style that only natural materials are capable of gifting; very light and velvety satin silks are used for the sliding dresses or for the precious and ethereal blouses that seem like dancing in the breeze.  Lightness is one of the key words of this collection and summarises the primary feature of all garments made to travel to hot and faraway places, as well as to stroll in the city on a hot summer day. Precious linens and cottons in the candid and neutral shades of white and beige harmoniously contrast with the lively shades of green, orange and brown ethnic patterns for timeless elegance that dresses a self-confident woman in simplicity and style.

Shirts, too, feature refined, high-end yarns that produce three-dimensional weaves thanks to special knitting patterns that fully convey this irresistible desire to explore and travel.

The classic yet revised suit is still the protagonist with its well-blended contrasts. The sash jackets that enhance the waist are combined with wide-leg pants; the sleeveless jackets are matched with shorter pants to create a look with character, perfect for the hot summer days.

The jacket is still Eleventy’s must-have, proposed in single- and double-breasted version with buttons in brushed gold metal that enhance the colours of the earth as well as the lighter tones of white and cream. Multi-pocket jackets with feminine lines guarantee a gritty, sophisticated style, while being practical and comfortable to take on the journey.

Very light unlined skins and velvety suede fabrics are used for dresses, overalls, duster coats, but also for bomber jackets for a more casual style, but revised to look effortlessly chic, also in the precious silk nylon with its translucent effect.

The collection is completed with a wealth of accessories: high-heel sandals and sabots in animal print leather that mirror the image of a modern and refined Africa. Scarves and wraps have the patterns and colours of nature. Long necklaces and bangles made with colourful coconut beads enrich the outfits with an exotic touch to carry around in the city.
